Barong Dance

First stop at Batubulan village to see the Barong and Kris Dance, a dance depicting an eternal fight between good and evil spirit. Barong is a large lion type creature played by two men representing of good spirit meanwhile Rangda which is with long fingernails and droopy breasts symbolizing the evil spirit. At the end of this story, a battle between good spirit, as a symbol of Barong and Rangda as a symbol of evil spirit. Nobody wins in this fight, finally dancer trance and stab himself with the hash but not until the wound. The Barong and Keris dance ticket is IDR 100,000 /person.


 

Tohpati Village

Tohpati Village is located east side of Denpasar city, this village well known for Batik Village. Most of the villager here making batik,process of making batik you can observe also here. There, batik making has evolved to become one of the greatest art forms of Asia. This ancient technique involves using a wajan similar in shape to a wok for melting wax, and a canting, a wooden-handled tool with a metal tip for applying wax to create the design.  You can shop for your favorite paintings batik like clothes, sarung, pillow case, photo of batik painting.No entrance ticket.

Taman Ayun Temple

The highlight of tour is Enjoy the beauty of  Taman Ayun temple form with a traditional architect Bali. You visit to Taman Ayun/Mengwi Temple - the former Royal temple of Taman Ayun built in a scenic place surrounded by lovely moat.  This Temple was built by the kingdom  I Gusti Ngurah Putu,in the 17th century. Outside of this temple is open grassy expanse and meeting hall for held the meeting, dance performance and sometime cockfighting. Middle yard built high wood bell (Kulkul), oustide yard to midle yard separate by open gate and from midle yard to inner courtyard separate by close gate. Inner courtyard has a lot of multitiered shrines (Meru), from first till the highest one. The visitor allowing to see the inner courtyard from outside only. Tanah Lot Temple

Tanah Lot Temple nested on a bulging up rock, which is continuously under abrasion of Indian Ocean waves. This temple was built around 16th century by one of famous Hindus Priest coming from Java in his effort to refresh the Hindu belief. This temple has the best sight when it is sunset (depends on temporal weather). In western side there is small temple built one of the temple in the top rock with hole, it is Batu Bolong Temple. At this temple you can experience blessing by temple spring holy water and see holy tame snake in black and white color where according to the local society believe that it as a deity property and as the guard of the temple from the bad influence. Uluwatu Temple

Name of Uluwatu was come from the word Ulu meaning the head and Watu meaning stone. Therefore Uluwatu Temple mean the temple built in tip of coral reef. It was built in the 11th century. This temple is a Hindu temple set on the cliff bank in south part of Bali Peninsula. It is one of six big groups of Bali Temples,located in Pecatu Village, Sub district of South Kuta, and Badung Regency . It is situated on the coral reef sordid to sea about 80 meters above the sea level. It is featured by a small dry forest which is mostly called by Alas Kekeran (interdict forest) which is belong to the temple and dwelt by a lot of monkeys.Entrance ticket is IDR 20,000/person


Kecak Dance

Kecak Dance performed on the eastern side of Uluwatu Temple. The Kecak dance performance is very simple. The men's chorus chants the words Cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak, in rhythm, over and over again, For this reason they are called the Kecak or Cak dance. The Kecak dances consist of about fifty men wearing only a loin-cloth, the upper part of their bodies left bare. They form rows of circles, in teh middle of which is a coconut oil lamp. The Kecak dance is performed for dance-dramas and the story presented is take from the Ramayana epic. Ticket fee at  IDR  100,000 /person.

Alas Kedaton Temple Bali is a megalithic sacred Hindu temple relics of ancient times, Alas Kedaton temple and the monkey forest has also become one the favorite places to visit for tourists in addition to the tourist attractions Tanah Lot Temple and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple as well as Batukaru Temple in Tabanan Bali.

Alas Kedaton Temple is located in the middle of the monkey forest, precisely in the village of Kukuh, Marga district, Tabanan regency. Alas Kedaton Temple (Indonesian: Pura Dalem Kahyangan Kedaton) is located approximately 35 kilometers from the city of Denpasar Bali, Indonesia.


Alas Kedaton Temple History

Alas Kedaton Temple built by Mpu Kuturan or Mpu Rajakertha during the reign of King Sri Masula Masuli, according to the inscription of Sading Village, Mengwi, Badung Regency mentions that King Sri Masula Masuli start reigning in Saka 1100 (1178 AD).

The inscription put on the Saka 1172 (1250 AD) which also mentions that King Sri Masula Masuli ruling in Bali island for 77 years, which means the government ended in Saka 1177 or 1255 AD.

The position of Alas Kedaton Temple is facing towards west and has 4 gates as entrances and exits of the temple.

The temple has a unique yard, the position of inside yard (in Balinese called Jeroan or Utama Mandala) is lower than middle yard (in Balinese called Jaba or Madya Mandala), unlike other temples in Bali which normally has a inside yard which is higher than the middle yard.

To know the history of Jatiluwih wholly based on the stories of parents who are residents of the village of Jatiluwih. Said that the story of the name Jatiluwih is derived from JATON and LUWIH. "Jaton" means amulet, while "Luwih" means good, From the meaning of that words it can be concluded that the Jatiluwih has a meaning is a village that has amulets were really good/powerful or intestate.

From other sources told that it is said in the middle of the village there is a graveyard of ancient animals of bird JATAYU. From this Jatayu word gradually changed the pronunciation became JATON AYU meaning Luwih or Good. So JATON AYU equal to JATILUWIH. This is how the word Jatiluwih since the first set to be the name of the village and to this day has never changed.
